Listen to short stories about art
Every Sunday from 1 pm – 3:15 pm, you can listen to short, inspiring stories about the works of art in one of the rooms at the Frans Hals Museum. Learn about one or more works of art or artists in just 15 minutes, or let the tour guide challenge you to take a different perspective on the works based on a central theme.
Listen to stories about the group portraits of civic guards (schutterstukken) by Frans Hals, get to know Judith Leyster or discover details in the still life paintings.
Every room has its own story runs every half hour. Ask at the information desk to find out where the story starts. Listen to the stories for free when you visit the Frans Hals Museum (Groot Heiligland 62).
‘I haven’t had so much fun visiting a fine arts museum in a very long time. They’re creative in how they give you information on what Frans Hals and other artists did and how they did it. 100% recommended.’
