Celebrate at the museum
Your celebration deserves a special location like the Frans Hals Museum. Invite your guests to a reception, event or dinner in our 17th-century setting. The museum building is a picturesque hofje (a courtyard enclosed by small houses) in the historical city centre of Haarlem.
Exclusive meetings and events
The Frans Hals Museum is available for exclusive meetings, receptions and events outside opening hours. Dine in the Renaissance room or hold a meeting in the museum café or courtyard.
Capacity
Originally, the Renaissance room was the dining room of the historical Old Men’s Alms House. Rent this room for a group of up to 60 people and dine in style. The historical courtyard, the beating heart of the museum, can accommodate a reception for up to 150 people.
Viewing events and guided tours
Apart from renting a room, you can also rent the whole museum or an exhibition for an exclusive viewing event. You can even book a guided tour. Take a look at the possibilities.

Dinner in the Rederijkerskamer
In the Grote Houtstraat, in the historic heart of Haarlem, you will find the oldest chamber of rhetoric in the Netherlands. The beautifully decorated rooms offer a unique setting for unforgettable events and atmospheric receptions: from the various period rooms to the Garden Room and the Great Hall. These rooms are suitable for groups of 60 to 120 people.
