Group discount
A group discount is available to groups of 10 or more people. We ask groups of more than 15 people to separate into smaller groups before entering the various rooms. You can buy tickets in advance on our ticket page
Guided tour
Book a guided tour for your group and discover the stories behind the works of art at the Frans Hals Museum. An experienced guide will help you discover the museum highlights.
- Book a guided tour at 11:30 am or 1:30 pm.
- The guided tour costs €90 per group of no more than 15 people (excluding entrance tickets).
- Duration: 1 hour.
Want to bring your own guide? You can do this for a group of up to 15 people, but please consult us first. Register your group by contacting info@franshalsmuseum.nl and buy your tickets online.
Group Visits During the Hals-Rembrandt exhibition
We are pleased to offer visitors the space to view the works of Hals and Rembrandt closely during this unique exhibition (6 November 2026 - 28 February 2027). Due to the expected crowds, online reservation is mandatory. Time slots have been reserved until 3:00 PM for individual visits, and from 3:15 PM for groups. Additionally, the use of whisper sets is mandatory for group visits with tourguide. Admission tickets can be booked here. Tickets for Hals-Rembrandt guided tours are not yet available for booking.
Cleeff frans hals
Enjoy a delicious cup of coffee and a home-made lunch or piece of cake at Cleeff Frans Hals. Sit inside or outside on our courtyard terrace. Access the café via the entrance to the Frans Hals Museum or directly at Groot Heiligland 56. Please contact us using the contact details below to make a group reservation.
Celebrate at the museum
The Frans Hals Museum is available for exclusive meetings, receptions and events outside opening hours. Dine in the Renaissance room or hold a meeting at the tuchthuispoort (correctional home gate) or in the museum café or courtyard. Read more about our hire options.
