On foot

The Frans Hals Museum is a 20-minute walk from Haarlem train station. From Grote Markt (Location Hal), take Grote Houtstraat to Gedempte Oude Gracht (traffic lights). Turn left. The second street on your right is Groot Heiligland.

By car

Houtplein and De Kamp car parks are a five-minute walk from Frans Hals Museum on Groot Heiligland. Appelaar car park is a three-minute walk from Location Hal. If you have a mindervalideparkeerkaart (blue badge permit), you can parkfor free inany disabled parking space and in any general parking space. This permit isn’t valid in multi-storey car parks.

By bicycle

Your best option is to leave your bicycle in the Tempeliersstraat cycle parking (Fietsenstalling Blauwe Tram). It’s only a few minutes on foot to Groot Heiligland along Houtplein and Gasthuisvest.
